Introduction
This component post now playing track information to Twitter manually/automatically.
You can post by a free format that uses Title Formatting.
The default format is below.
#nowplaying TITLE - ARTIST - [ALBUM No.TRACKNUMBER] http://j.mp/xxxxxx
- Allows you to post manually.
- If manual post mode, allows you to post with comment.
- Allows you to post automatically.
- If automatic post mode, this component post basically at intervals of 1 track. However, it is possible to post at intervals between 1 to 1000 tracks in consideration of being disliked.
- Allows you to set timing to post.
- Allows you to insert the link in the tail of post message.
- Allows you to post to Twitter via proxy.
Installation
- Copy dll file to "foobar2000\components" directory
- Run foobar2000
Settings
- Run foobar2000
- Check to see that foo_twitter_post is installed by going to Preferences -> Components.
Also, check to see if you are using the latest version.
- Go to Preferences -> Tools -> Twitter Post
Twitter Settings
You set Twitter.
Screen Name
Screen name of Twitter authentication now.
Authentication button
Displayed the authentication dialog when pushed.
Delete button
The authentication is deleted when pushed.
Post Format
You set post message by Title Formatting.(Note) The final character string compiled by Title Formatting must not exceed 140 characters.
Add link at end of post
If selected, insert the link in the tail of post message. Default link is to YouTube.
Use proxy
If selected, post to Twitter via proxy. set “Server” and “Port” edit box.
Automatic Post Settings
This option allow you to change when the plugin posts the track information to Twitter.
Do not use automatic post

Post when a track is started
(self explanatory)
Post when a track is ended

Post when playback percentage is
You can select a value between 1% and 99%.
Post when playback second(s) is
You can set any value greater than 1 second.
Post Intervals
You can select a value between 1 and 1000. e.g. if you select 1, post all tracks. If you select 100, post tracks at intervals of 100 tracks.
Random
This component posts tracks at the probability of the value set in the slide bar. e.g. if you select 1, post all tracks. If you select 100, post tracks at a probability of 1/100. But because of a probability, as much as one might not be posted even if it plays by 100 tracks.
Post only tracks in the media library to Twitter
If selected, no information will be post to tracks that are not in the media library.
(note) The settings other than Automatic Post Settings are reflected at once. When the next tune is played, the setting of Automatic Post Settings is reflected.
At first - Authentication
Push the “Authentication” button in preferences page then displayed following dialog.
Input your Twitter screen name and password then push OK button. If the dialog of the after a while following authentication successes is displayed, it is OK.
How to post manually
During playback, select menu Playback -> Post to Twitter.
Then popup [No comment] and [With comment].
If [No comment] selected, post to Twitter directly.
If [With comment] selected, below window is popup.
Edit your comment and push [Post] button(or Enter key), post to Twitter.
Also, when you store foobar2000 in the task tray, it is possible to post from the Now Playing context menu displayed by right-clicking in the icon of the task tray (When playback, limit it).
How to post automatically
- Go to Preferences -> Tools -> Twitter Post
- You set "Twitter Post Timing" except for "Do not use automatic post".
- You set "Post Intervals".
- You play tracks.
- You confirm to Twitter whether the post is successful.
- The error code comes out in the console when not posted well.
Initialization of setting
Push [Reset Page] button in preferences page, then initialize setting this component.
Notes
- There is a possibility of not operating correctly when changing the resource of this component like Japanese localization etc.
- Please attest it again after releasing the cooperation of the application program of foo_twit_post once on the Twitter side when it is not possible to post because of the error such as "Could not authenticate with OAuth" or "Incorrect Signature" etc.
- When posting to Twitter, the displayed application program name becomes "foo_twit_post" (It is not "foo_twitter_post"). This is because it becomes impossible to use the character string of "twitter" for the application program name by the change of the specification on the Twitter side. Please acknowledge it though it is an origin where confusion is caused.

これ何？
foobar2000で現在再生している曲を手動/自動でTwitterに投稿するコンポーネント。
Title Formattingを使った自由なフォーマットで投稿することが可能。
デフォルトでは以下のフォーマットで投稿する。

- 任意のタイミングで手動で投稿することが可能
- 手動の場合、投稿フォーマットに追加でコメントを挿入して投稿することが可能
- 自動で投稿することも可能
- 自動の場合、基本的に毎曲投稿するが、ウザがられることを考慮して、オプションで1～1000曲毎に投稿することもできる
- 投稿するタイミングを自由に設定可能(例えば10秒再生したら投稿する等)
- 投稿フォーマットの末尾に任意のリンクを挿入可能
- Proxy接続によるTwitterへの投稿が可能
インストール方法
dll を foobar2000\components に配置して foobar2000 を起動するだけ。
設定
- foobar2000を起動
- foo_twitter_post.dll のロードを確認
Preferences → Components で "Twitter Post" が表示されており、VERSIONの値がダウンロードしたバージョンと一致していればOK
- 設定
Preferences → Tools → Twitter Post ページを開く
以下のような画面が表示される。
【Twitter Settings】
Twitterに関する設定を行う。
Screen Name
現在認証されているTwitterのスクリーンネームを表示。
Authenticationボタン
認証ダイアログを表示する。
Deleteボタン
認証情報を削除する。
Post Format
Twitterに投稿するフォーマットをTitle Formattingで入力する。
(注) Title Formattingでコンパイルされた最終的な文字列が140文字を超えないように注意すること。半角文字も全角文字も1文字とカウントする。

投稿フォーマットの末尾に任意のリンクを挿入する。リンクのフォーマットは右のエディットボックスで設定可能。
Use proxy
Proxyを使用してTwitterへ投稿する場合にチェックを付ける。Proxyのサーバ名とポート番号をServer、Port欄に入力する。
【Automatic Post Settings】自動でTwitterに投稿する条件をグループボックスで選択する。
デフォルトでは自動で投稿しない設定にしている。
手動で投稿する場合は本項目は設定不要。
以下に各設定内容について説明する。
Do not use automatic post
自動で投稿しない。
Post when a track is started
トラックの再生を開始した直後に投稿する。
Post when a track is ended
トラックの再生が終了した直後に投稿する。
Post when playback percentage is
トラックの再生時間が一定割合を超えた場合に投稿する。
割合はスライドバーで設定してください。
1～99%が選択可能。
0%を使いたい → 「Post when a track is started」を使って下さい
100%を使いたい → 「Post when a track is ended」を使って下さい
Post when playback second(s) is
トラックの再生時間が一定秒数を超えた場合に投稿する。
秒数はエディットボックスに入力してください。
1秒以上が設定可能。
0秒を使いたい → 「Post when a track is started」を使って下さい
Post Intervals
自動モード時にトラックを投稿する間隔をスライドバーで設定する。例えば1とすれば毎曲投稿する。100とすれば100曲毎に投稿する。
設定は自動モード時にのみ有効。
Random
自動モード時にスライドバーで設定した値の確率で投稿する。例えばスライドバーで100と設定した場合、1/100の確率で投稿する。ただし、確率なので100曲再生しても1曲も投稿しない場合もある。
設定は自動モード時にのみ有効。
Post only tracks in the media library to Twitter
チェックを入れた場合、メディアライブラリ内の曲のみ投稿する。
設定は自動モード時にのみ有効。
(注) Automatic Post Settings以外の設定の反映はすぐに行われます。Automatic Post Settingsの設定は次の曲の再生時に反映されます。
最初にやること(認証)
最初にTwitterの認証を行う必要がある。
設定ページのAuthenticationボタンを押すと以下のようなダイアログが表示される。
このダイアログにTwitterのスクリーンネームおよびパスワードを入れ、OKボタンを押す。しばらくして以下のような認証成功のダイアログが表示されればOK。
OKボタンを押してダイアログを閉じる。
以上でfoo_twitter_postを使用する準備が整った。
使ってみる(手動投稿)
投稿したい曲を再生中に、メニュー Playback → Post to Twitter を選択する↓
すると「No comment」と「With comment」がポップアップ表示される。
「With comment」を選択した場合、コメント編集用のウィンドウが表示される↓
追加したいコメントを記入して、Postボタン(もしくはEnterキー)を押すと、編集した内容でTwitterにポストする。
「No comment」を選択した場合はウィンドウは表示されず、設定したフォーマットでポストする。
また、foobar2000をタスクトレイに格納している場合は、タスクトレイのアイコンを右クリックすることで表示される(曲を再生している時に限る)Now Playingコンテキストメニューからでも投稿することができる↓
使ってみる(自動投稿)
- 設定ページを開く
- Twitter Post TimingをDo not use automatic post以外に設定する
- Post Intervalsを設定する
- トラックを再生し、設定した条件を満たした場合にTwitterにポストされているか確認する
- もしうまく投稿されていない場合はコンソールにエラーメッセージが出る。
設定の初期化
設定ページにある「Reset Page」ボタンを押すことで、本コンポーネントの設定を初期化することができる。
注意事項
- 日本語化等、本コンポーネントのリソースを書き換えると正しく動作しなくなる可能性があります。
- 「Incorrect Signature」「Could not authenticate with OAuth」等のエラーで投稿できない場合、一度Twitter側でfoo_twit_postのアプリ連携を解除した後、再度認証してみてください。
- Twitter投稿時に表示されるアプリ名は「foo_twit_post」となります(「foo_twitter_post」ではない)。これはTwitter側の仕様変更により、アプリ名に「twitter」という文字列が使えなくなったためです。混乱を招く元ですが、ご了承ください。

Installation
- Copy dll file to "foobar2000\components" directory
- Run foobar2000
Settings
- Run foobar2000
- Check to see that foo_twitter_post is installed by going to Preferences -> Components.
Also, check to see if you are using the latest version.
- Go to Preferences -> Tools -> Twitter Post
Twitter Settings
You set Twitter.
User ID
(self explanatory)
Password
(self explanatory)
Post Format
You set post message by Title Formatting.
(Note) The final character string compiled by Title Formatting must not exceed 140 characters.
Add link at end of post
If selected, insert the link in the tail of post message. Default link is to YouTube.
Use proxy
If selected, post to Twitter via proxy. set “Server” and “Port” edit box.
Automatic Post Settings
This option allow you to change when the plugin posts the track information to Twitter.
Do not use automatic post

Post when a track is ended

Post when playback percentage is
You can select a value between 1% and 99%.
Post when playback second(s) is
You can set any value greater than 1 second.
Post Intervals
You can select a value between 1 and 1000. e.g. if you select 1, post all tracks. If you select 100, post tracks at intervals of 100 tracks.
Random
This component posts tracks at the probability of the value set in the slide bar. e.g. if you select 1, post all tracks. If you select 100, post tracks at a probability of 1/100. But because of a probability, as much as one might not be posted even if it plays by 100 tracks.
Post only tracks in the media library to Twitter
If selected, no information will be post to tracks that are not in the media library.
When the setting ends, the setting change is fixed pushing either button of OK/Apply.
How to post manually
At first, set user id and password in preferences page, and the setting change is fixed pushing the OK/Apply button.
During playback, select menu Playback -> Post to Twitter.
Then popup [No comment] and [With comment].
If [No comment] selected, post to Twitter directly.
If [With comment] selected, below window is popup.
Edit your comment and push [Post] button(or Enter key), post to Twitter.
Also, when you store foobar2000 in the task tray, it is possible to post from the Now Playing context menu displayed by right-clicking in the icon of the task tray (When playback, limit it).
How to post automatically
- Go to Preferences -> Tools -> Twitter Post
- You set user id and password in "Twitter Setting".
- You set "Twitter Post Timing" except for "Do not use automatic post".
- You set "Post Intervals".
- You push the OK/Apply button.
- You play tracks.
- You confirm to Twitter whether the post is successful.
- The error code comes out in the console when not posted well. When the error code is 401, you confirm user id or the password again.
Initialization of setting
Push [Reset Page] button in preferences page, then initialize setting this component. If the OK/Apply button is not pushed after the [Reset Page] button is pushed, it is not reflected.

(注) foo_twitter_post v1.8.1以前のバージョンから本バージョンにアップデートする場合はTwitterパスワードがリセットされていますので、再度設定ページからパスワードの再設定をお願いします。

これ何？
foobar2000で現在再生している曲を手動/自動でTwitterに投稿するコンポーネント。
Title Formattingを使った自由なフォーマットで投稿することが可能。
デフォルトでは以下のフォーマットで投稿する。
#nowplaying TITLE - ARTIST - [ALBUM No.TRACKNUMBER] http://j.mp/xxxxxx
- 任意のタイミングで手動で投稿することが可能
- 手動の場合、投稿フォーマットに追加でコメントを挿入して投稿することが可能
- 自動で投稿することも可能
- 自動の場合、基本的に毎曲投稿するが、ウザがられることを考慮して、オプションで1～1000曲毎に投稿することもできる
- 投稿するタイミングを自由に設定可能(例えば10秒再生したら投稿する等)
- 投稿フォーマットの末尾に任意のリンクを挿入可能
- Proxy接続によるTwitterへの投稿が可能
仕様
- 設定を変更した場合、変更は次トラック再生時から有効になる。
インストール方法
ダウンロードしたファイルを foobar2000\components に配置して foobar2000 を起動するだけ。
設定
- foobar2000を起動
- foo_twitter_post.dll のロードを確認
Preferences → Components で "Twitter Post" が表示されており、VERSIONの値がダウンロードしたバージョンと一致していればOK
- 設定
Preferences → Tools → Twitter Post ページを開く
以下のような画面が表示される。
【Twitter Settings】
Twitterに関する設定を行う。
User ID
TwitterのユーザIDを入力する。
Password
Twitterのパスワードを入力する。
Post Format
Twitterに投稿するフォーマットをTitle Formattingで入力する。
(注) Title Formattingでコンパイルされた最終的な文字列が140文字を超えないように注意すること。半角文字も全角文字も1文字とカウントする。
Add link at end of post
投稿フォーマットの末尾に任意のリンクを挿入する。リンクのフォーマットは右のエディットボックスで設定可能。
Use proxy
Proxyを使用してTwitterへ投稿する場合にチェックを付ける。Proxyのサーバ名とポート番号をServer、Port欄に入力する。
【Automatic Post Settings】自動でTwitterに投稿する条件をグループボックスで選択する。
デフォルトでは自動で投稿しない設定にしている。
手動で投稿する場合は本項目は設定不要。
以下に各設定内容について説明する。
Do not use automatic post
自動で投稿しない。
Post when a track is started
トラックの再生を開始した直後に投稿する。
Post when a track is ended
トラックの再生が終了した直後に投稿する。
Post when playback percentage is
トラックの再生時間が一定割合を超えた場合に投稿する。
割合はスライドバーで設定してください。
1～99%が選択可能。
0%を使いたい → 「Post when a track is started」を使って下さい
100%を使いたい → 「Post when a track is ended」を使って下さい
Post when playback second(s) is
トラックの再生時間が一定秒数を超えた場合に投稿する。
秒数はエディットボックスに入力してください。
1秒以上が設定可能。
0秒を使いたい → 「Post when a track is started」を使って下さい
Post Intervals
自動モード時にトラックを投稿する間隔をスライドバーで設定する。例えば1とすれば毎曲投稿する。100とすれば100曲毎に投稿する。
設定は自動モード時にのみ有効。
Random
自動モード時にスライドバーで設定した値の確率で投稿する。例えばスライドバーで100と設定した場合、1/100の確率で投稿する。ただし、確率なので100曲再生しても1曲も投稿しない場合もある。
設定は自動モード時にのみ有効。
Post only tracks in the media library to Twitter
チェックを入れた場合、メディアライブラリ内の曲のみ投稿する。
設定は自動モード時にのみ有効。
設定が終わったらOK/Applyのどちらかのボタンを押して設定変更を確定する。
使ってみる(手動投稿)
設定画面でTwitter SettingsにTwitterのユーザIDとパスワードを入力し、OK/Applyいずれかのボタンを押し設定を確定する。
そして、投稿したい曲を再生中に、メニュー Playback → Post to Twitter を選択する↓
すると「No comment」と「With comment」がポップアップ表示される。
「With comment」を選択した場合、コメント編集用のウィンドウが表示される↓
追加したいコメントを記入して、Postボタン(もしくはEnterキー)を押すと、編集した内容でTwitterにポストする。
「No comment」を選択した場合はウィンドウは表示されず、設定したフォーマットでポストする。
また、foobar2000をタスクトレイに格納している場合は、タスクトレイのアイコンを右クリックすることで表示される(曲を再生している時に限る)Now Playingコンテキストメニューからでも投稿することができる↓
使ってみる(自動投稿)
- 設定ページを開く
- Twitter SettingsにTwitterのユーザIDとパスワードを入力する
- Twitter Post TimingをDo not use automatic post以外に設定する
- Post Intervalsを設定する
- OK/Applyいずれかのボタンを押し設定を確定する
- トラックを再生し、設定した条件を満たした場合にTwitterにポストされているか確認する
- もしうまく投稿されていない場合はコンソールにエラーコードが出る。エラーコードが401の場合はユーザIDまたはパスワードが間違っている可能性があるので再度確認する。
設定の初期化
設定ページにある「Reset Page」ボタンを押すことで、本コンポーネントの設定を初期化することができる(Reset Pageボタンを押した後、OK/Applyボタンを押さないと反映されない)。
注意事項
- 設定を変更した場合、変更内容は次トラック再生時から有効になる
免責事項
- 本コンポーネントを使用して発生したいかなる問題にも責任を負いかねます。最悪メディアライブラリやコンピュータのデータを破壊してしまうかもしれません。自己責任にてご利用願います。
- 何をするコンポーネントか分かる人のみ使用してください。
- バグ等あれば連絡ください。出来る限り対処します(無理な場合もありますのでご了承下さい)。
